The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Amusement Inc. (achier) is the leading professional association representing teachers and other professionals busy in the fields of health and physical education. We are a member based, notforprofit organization with a significant profile. The purpose of achier is to encourage energetic and healthy living for all Australians through education and professional practice. achier also provides programs and services that encourage continuing development of knowledge, skills and professional practice, focusing primarily on health education, physical education and recreation. Through this, achier will serve members and other stakeholders who value lifelong physical activity and health. achier has more than 3,00 members nationwide and has a Branch in each state and territory (excluding ACT). This area is restricted to Board Members of achier National. achier is elated to confess the involvement and encourage of over 3,00 members Australia wide. The succeeding Life Members have given outstanding service to their Branches and to National achier over many years and those awarded more recently continue to hold office or promote the organization at National and Branch level. Life Membership is the greatest and maximum prestigious National award available to achier Members and nominations are considered by an Awards Committee of peers representing all Branches. achier Fellows have made a meaningful contribution to achier's standing and activities. They have served their Branch with energy and commitment, and been influential, difficult working and supportive of colleagues in their workplace and within achier's committees, projects and events. They have not necessarily been tall profile contributors but they have made a difference over time to achier's achievements. In 2017, we have a number of advertising opportunities available to get your message out to a national audience: achier National has been a publisher of tall quality resources specifically catering to the needs of the Health and Physical Education profession for many decades, and have a range of published resources that are compatible with and supportive of the Australian Curriculum for Health and Physical Education. achier publishes two key publications for the profession: achier Inc is forging ahead with leadership and promote for achier's purpose 'to enhance the health and healthy being of every Australian by educating, advocating, and leading professional practice in health education, physical education, sport and recreation' through delivery of the 201719 Strategic Priorities. People: Identifying, developing and promoting people who can bear the capabilities to deliver. Finances: Increasing the potential of the organizations vogue financial pillars for sustainable budgeting, and increasing funding from both government and non government sectors. Processes: Policies, processes and procedures that ensure appropriate governance and operations.
