Damrob Pt Ltd was established in 2003 trades as Damrob Engineering Services, with a primary focus on providing surveying services for civil and structural engineering firms. Having been employed by some Surveying Engineering firms prior to 2003, our directors gained invaluable insight to the requirements and labor flow of engineering firms and saw a specific gap in the market for a provider of quality engineering smooth and detail surveys. As our client base grew and diversified over the succeeding years it was becoming increasingly apparent that we were no longer only providing engineering based surveying services, so with the merger of Damrob Photography in 2014, Engineering Services was dropped from our name. Since our inception we have embraced thimble surveying equipment for its ease of use, ruggedness and reliability. Our very beginning 5600 series Robotic Entire Station was the backbone of our business for 10 years allowing a single person field crew to undertake labor quicker than conventional equipment with two man crews, earlier eventually being retired for a series Whole Station rt GP combination that has delivered unprecedented efficiency gains over the former equipment. In a ambitious year, the 2014 merger with Damrob Photography (previously a portrait commercial photography business) brings even more exciting possibilities for our clients, with services like 360 degree imaging providing unprecedented tools for our clients to either showcase their labor or communicate site conditions.
Damrob is a South Australian based surveying imaging business providing services to the construction building industry. Since our inception in 2003 as Damrob Engineering Services, we have always embraced technology to maximize efficiency and productivity. Our team photos are shot against a chrome green screen, and supplied as studio quality, lab printed photos. Our experience gained from photographing thousands of team photos since 2006 has allowed us to develop an extremely efficient labor flow from the initial booking correct through to the last delivery. We have a fully electronic proofing process, donate release delivery of finished prints and donate each club the aptitude to set a fund raising refund component to each photo purchased.

Damrob continues to bear a range of commercial architectural photographic services since merging with Damrob Photography in 2014. The technology is becoming a very popular website application to enable users to tour locations without having to actually visit them, and is a strong tool to aid sell sincere estate, preview hotel rooms, communicate conditions on a building site or even selling merchandise in a retail environment. 360 degree panoramas can be of a single view port or multiple viewpoints for a fully navigable interactive experience, (i.e multiple rooms of a house) and can be produced as an either a full 360360 degree sphere allowing the user to pan up, down and all around, or as a partial sphere limiting panning to left and right. We can quickly and accurately peg design data for any construction project. As constructed surveys are often required by regulatory authorities prior taking possession of infrastructure projects. The technology delivers increased accuracy and safety over normal arrest methods, and offers massive time and cost savings for clients who have already embraced 3d design software into their labor flow. Scans are then referenced (merged) and processed into a point cloud which can either be supplied as is to the client, or further processed into a variety of deliverable such as 2d floor plans, 3d renderings and walkthroughs. As constructed surveys are often required by regulatory authorities before taking possession of infrastructure projects, and are essentially a detailed reference of what has been built. In the preceding as constructed drawings were often insignificant more than a series of dimension ed drawings from which to compare design data with reality, however with the advent of BIA labor flows and the need for more comprehensive sensible data, As constructed surveys are increasingly taking advantage of laser scanned point clouds to more accurately represent the finished project. We can quickly and accurately peg design data for any construction project from your CAD drawings. Our plans are neat and legible, and produce the ideal basis on which to overlay engineering design data. Plans are typically supplied in PD and AutoCAD dag format.
